Around 6 a.m., the Alabama owners were awakened by their puppy’s persistent whining from the driveway. The dog’s cries seemed directed at their parked car. In a TikTok video posted by one of the owners, Savannah Piccini, under the nickname @coastal.cowgirl, she explained that despite searching everywhere, they saw nothing unusual.
“He wouldn’t stop whining, so we decided to spray it with a hose,” Savannah wrote.
What happened next was astonishing. A tiny black kitten sprinted out from under the car, where it had been trapped all morning. Savannah expressed her relief and gratitude towards her pup for alerting them. Remarkably, this kitten was the third baby animal she had found in just 35 days.
“It felt like someone was playing a joke on me. My husband and I couldn’t stop laughing in disbelief,” Savannah shared in an interview with Newsweek. “I joke that every time I step outside, I find more animals to rescue. I secretly love it.”
