A Woman Was Surprised To See A Fluffy Little Baby Dumped In a Diaper Box In Front Of Her Store
Frankie, a five-week-old Pit Bull puppy, felt a wave of sadness and confusion wash over him as his family abandoned him for the first time. The tiny furball was placed in a Pampers diaper box and left on a property in West Side, Buffalo, New York.
Peeking his adorable head out from the box, Frankie looked around with eyes filled with longing and hope. He wished for a kind-hearted human to notice him and bring him to safety.
A Local Hero Steps In

A local business owner named Robin was stunned to find the sweetest puppy, who she later named Frankie, right in front of her store. Without hesitation, the compassionate woman picked up the baby and promised him he would receive help. Frankie felt relieved to see a kind face and knew he was in good hands.
Robin, a dedicated supporter of West Side Cat Rescue, a Buffalo-based shelter, reached out to them, asking for their help in caring for Frankie. Jamie Mulligan, the founder of the shelter, received Robin’s call and quickly sprang into action.
Jamie believed the person who left Frankie outside Robin’s store knew that the little furball would find the care he needed. The rescue staff agreed to take him in and pamper him with the love and attention he deserved. They refused to surrender him to an overcrowded shelter.
“Unfortunately, the local shelters here are full of pit bulls that no one wants to adopt, so Jamie knew she couldn’t bring him to an overcrowded shelter,” a representative from West Side Cat Rescue told The Dodo.
A New Start for Frankie

Frankie captivated the hearts of the rescue staff. The little baby just wanted to be held and showered with love. His shelter friends drove him to the vet for a medical checkup and bought him puppy food, a leash, and a collar, preparing him for foster care.

Jamie’s daughter, who often helps at the rescue, decided to foster the delightful puppy. Frankie’s life transformed completely after moving to his foster home, where his foster mom cuddled him and showered him with unconditional love. Over time, the little baby built a strong bond with his foster mom.
When Jamie’s daughter expressed her desire to change Frankie’s name, it became clear that she had fallen in love with him. The pup’s forever mom decided on a new name: Percy.
“It’s now looking like Jamie’s daughter has become attached. Percy is now a foster fail,” the representative added.
The delightful puppy felt safe and adored in the arms of his forever mom. As he soaked up her unconditional love, his beautiful puppy eyes filled with joy. Percy knew he had finally found his happily ever after.
