When the Krier family discovered their beloved Black Labrador, Bo, was missing, they were overwhelmed with panic. They searched everywhere, desperate to find him.
Bo’s adventurous spirit was well-known. He loved sneaking out of their Concordia, Kansas home for solo excursions. Despite his frequent escapades, he always managed to find his way back—until now.
The night Bo disappeared, he vanished from the family yard after his mom took him to the bathroom. He didn’t return, leaving the family in distress.

Desperation grew as they searched tirelessly for their sweet boy. Bo’s mom, Laura Krier, posted his photo on social media, pleading for anyone who saw him to contact the family immediately.
The next day, hope sparked when Bo’s dad, Kyle Krier, received news of a dog resembling Bo seen running in cornfields six miles away. Kyle raced to the spot, and upon seeing his dog, called out to him. Bo, recognizing his name, ran joyfully towards him.
Kyle was elated to have his beloved dog back, but he quickly noticed Bo was not alone. Two other figures accompanied him, barely discernible in the distance.
Bo Introduces His Friends

As the trio approached, Kyle was astonished to see Bo’s companions were a dog and a goat. Bo, ever the good friend, invited his new pals for a ride in his dad’s red truck. Kyle welcomed the trio into his car and drove them to the city.
It wasn’t long before Kyle discovered that Bo’s friends, Libby and Ozzy, belonged to their neighbors. Piecing the story together, it became clear that after sneaking out, Bo must have headed straight to his friends’ home. While it remained a mystery whose idea it was to embark on the adventure, one thing was certain: the three friends had made the plan together.
“It’s difficult to say if Bo the black Lab or Libby and Ozzy were the culprit in starting the adventure. But, nonetheless, they escaped. They’re pals for sure,” Shawna Huggans told The Dodo.
Bo was thrilled to have friends who shared his love for adventures.
Bo’s Perfect Life

Bo continued his adventurous life, making even more goat friends and escaping almost daily. However, in July 2022, Laura shared heartbreaking news on Facebook: their perfect and sweet Bo had crossed the rainbow bridge. They would forever cherish his memory.
“He was so perfect from the day we picked him as a puppy, it’s truly unexplainable! The happiness he brought us all every day, his funny personality, his love for going to work with dad, his passion for walks or jogs—even if I couldn’t keep up with his energy—and his love for hot dogs will live on forever with us every day,” she wrote.
Bo lived his best life, adored and cherished by his family. He brought joy to many and will always be remembered.
