As suspected, she was covered in thousands of ticks and diagnosed with Babesiosis, a tick-borne disease. Without a microchip, her medical history was unknown, but this didn’t deter them from giving her the care she needed.
With physical recovery underway, Amber’s emotional state also improved as she received unlimited love and attention. She made new friends, and her heart began to fill with joy once more. No longer in an empty house with an empty heart, Amber was on the path to the happiest moment of her life—a new home where she could find someone around whom her world would revolve.

Touched by Amber’s story, Tatjana, a friend of Howl Of A Dog, committed to finding Amber a new home—a house full of love. Soon, Amber received joyous news. Brigit and Lars, a couple who adored dogs, decided to foster her. This was Amber’s consolation until she could find her forever home.
However, fate had a beautiful twist in store. Brigit and Lars fell deeply in love with Amber and decided to adopt her. Amber’s heart was finally full, and her new home was overflowing with love.
