This lovable red Aussie Shepherd spent his entire life in apartments, only venturing outside during walk times. But a big change was on the horizon for Reese. His paw-rents decided it was time for a new home, and guess where they moved? To a house with a yard!

Reese’s family, based in Austin, Texas, had always dreamed of owning a house with a yard. They knew that one day, they would find the perfect place for Reese and themselves. Finally, that day arrived!
Without giving anything away, Reese’s mom and dad moved all their belongings into their new home. Then, they brought Reese to see the new digs. In a heartwarming video shared by The Dodo, Reese eagerly explored his new environment, sniffing around like a little detective. He was thrilled to recognize the familiar scents of their old stuff.
But then, Reese discovered something that made his heart race—a glass door revealing a backyard!
“That’s your yard… Yeah… It’s your yard… It’s yours,” Dad said in the video. If Reese could talk, he’d probably say: “Really? Really? Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy!”
Reese was over the moon. He didn’t just check out the yard; he spent hours playing in it. But the surprises didn’t end there. Mom had one more treat in store: a ball party! She pulled out a box full of tennis balls and scattered them across the yard. Reese was beyond ecstatic.

The only downside to having a yard? Reese never wanted to leave it. Convincing him to go for walks became a challenge. But as soon as he saw his four-legged friends joining in, he couldn’t resist tagging along.
At the end of the day, Reese found pure joy in his backyard, reveling in the space his mom and dad had given him. Life was already sweet for Reese, but now it’s even sweeter. This energetic pup, a typical dognado, now has ample room for zoomies, sunbathing, and living an active, happy life.
