The Heartbreaking Truth
A young boy named Andres made the hardest decision for his beloved family dog, a Pittie named Rene. With his mom’s support, this brave boy placed his furry friend in a cardboard box and took him to a local rescue. According to the rescue’s Facebook page, they left Rene right at the doorstep.
When the shelter staff discovered Rene in the box, they were stunned. But then, a little note revealed everything and brought everyone to tears.
The note read: “My mom and I decided to leave my dog in your care, hiding it from my dad because he wants to sell him. But he mistreats and kicks him. One day he kicked him so hard that he hurt his tail. I hope you can help and take care of him.”
Alongside the note, there was a small Teddy bear – Rene’s favorite toy that Andres left for his buddy. The boy wanted to give his dog one last memory, a lifelong reminder of his human brother.
